Due to our exceptional location, we’re able to take advantage of and explore the surrounding wilderness no matter what time of year. Perfect for a family trip in the French Riviera, adults and children will find many activities. Also the beach is just 10 minutes away from our domain.
Therefore, here at Relais du Vieux Sauvaire we offer our residents the opportunity to get involved in a whole range of activities, from sports to culinary classes to cultural visits, all achievable thanks to our close knit group of partnerships.
MANY ACTIVITIES ON SITE
This place is an ideal location for a relaxing reading time, as well as improvised walks in the shade of cork trees and surrounding greenery. Enjoy the calm and peace, take delight of the flora around and try some different nature activities. And you can also benefit from all of our facilities :
- Heated swimming pool
- Tennis courts
- Petanque grounds
- Swings
- Bikes available (subject to availability)
- and the animals in the parcel, chickens, ducks and donkeys, will delight the youngest.
On request, with an additional cost, you can take:
- a swimming lesson for children or adults or aquagym session
- a tennis lesson for children or adults
- a yoga session
BOAT TRIPS AT LAVANDOU
Set off for a day at sea to discover the nearby islands Porquerroll, Levant and Port-cross, and the wonderful Lavandou coast, on the Relais du Vieux Sauvaire boat led by our skipper.
Sport
For our sportier guests, several land-based activities are accessible, such as cycling with the bikes available here, hiking and even donkey rides. Of course, you can also play tennis here (even ask for a tennis class), as well as playing a round of golf at Golf de Valcros.
The sea is not far, so there are also numerous water-based options including water-skiing, parasailing, windsurfing and sports fishing. Boat trips are also available.
Culture
For the lovers of modern and/or ancient heritage sites, visits to neighbouring wineries and local artisan workshops can be arranged. Locations include the historic village of Collobrières, the Chartreuse de la Verne monastery, the Rayol Canadel botanical gardens, the Fort de Brégançon, the medieval village of Bormes, the domaine Murennes vineyard and more.

Chefs’ Dinners
We welcome you again this season for our Chefs’ Dinners.
Our restaurant opens every Wednesday in July, August and beggining of September for a Chefs’ Dinner. You will be able to taste a seasonal cuisine prepared by a local chef with high-quality local products from our vegetable garden.
